Um, y'all, it's the end of summer down there in Antarctica, and ice falls off the edges every year about this time. This piece is the size of Manhattan? Whoopee doo. Sorry to tell you media people this, but Manhattan is not the center of the universe, nor is it the standard measure for "really big iceberg". Now, if an iceberg the size of Texas was breaking off, THAT would be a story. But it's not going to, because all the water around there is fixing to freeze back up as the fall turns into a bitterly cold winter.

On the bright side, if the seas do rise, then Manhattan will go under.
