Actually, a Deep Impact scenario would be preferable, IMHO. Why? Because that would mean that TPTB are NOT a bunch of evil SOBs that are screwing up everything on purpose.
We are heading towards WWIII, and this time we won't be safe on this continent.

No links, man, just something I dreamed up. Even though the preparedness bullets are all factual, the rest was all tongue-in-cheek.
I just meant that I found that particular scenario more plausible than the economic-meltdown-leads-to-third-world-regression scenario, that's all.
